We will kick off our learning adventure with an afternoon at the Wisconsin Historical Society’s headquarters building. Registration will take place in the main lobby starting at 2:00pm, and the program will begin promptly at 2:30pm. Please plan to check in with our team and get settled before the fun begins.
Thursday, August 6
UW–Madison Pyle Center

Our second day will take place at UW-Madison’s Pyle Center. Doors open at 8:00am. Enter the building through the main doors on Langdon Street. We will begin our program at 8:30am in the Alumni Lounge on the first floor.
Food and Drink
On Wednesday evening, explore Madison’s many nearby dining options on State Street or the capitol square. The Memorial Union Terrace is just steps away from the venue with great views of Lake Mendota and several dining options.
On Thursday, we are pleased to provide light morning refreshments and a buffet lunch.

Lodging & Travel
We are excited to host educators from across the state this summer. A limited number of lodging sponsorships are available for a 1-night stay on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Lodging sponsorships are available to residents outside of Dane County and will be awarded on a rolling basis. Sponsored lodging will be offered at hotels within walking distance of our event venue. Let us know of your interest in a lodging sponsorship during the registration process. We will notify you of sponsorship no later than Friday, May 15, 2026.
Parking
The following UW parking lots are within a three block radius of the Wisconsin Historical Society and the Pyle Center. Check live campus visitor parking availability.

- Lot 83 Fluno Center
- Lot 46 Lake & Johnson
The City of Madison also operates the State Street Campus Garage within walking distance to both venues. There are bike racks and bus stops located nearby as well. You may even want to take advantage of several fare-free bus routes on the UW-Madison campus.
